EXPAND
Habakkuk 2:14 is a promise. Let me say it again: The Earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. Picture the promise in the New Testament of a new Heaven and a new Earth coming. This is what Jesus taught us to pray for; your kingdom come, your will be done on Earth as it is in heaven. It’s going to happen one day. This will happen as Christians join God’s invitation to be His ambassadors (2 Cor 5:20) and witnesses (Matt 28:18-20) to all the world (Mark 16:15). What message do we have to offer the world? The Gospel. The Good News of God’s redeeming love is that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, into the world to live the life we should have lived and die the death we should have died as a substitute for our rebellion against Him By faith in Christ we are forgiven, redeemed, and adopted into God’s family. What a fabulous, life-changing message! As Christians proclaim the Gospel, we have confidence that a day is coming when the knowledge of the glory of the Lord will cover the earth as the waters cover the sea.
LifePlan is all about proclaiming this fabulous, life-changing, Gospel message. This is at the heart of our messages, programs, and even strategies. We are continuing to do the work of God to expand and redeem His created order with the Gospel message. We have two major projects happening toward this end. We are both expanding and redeeming as explained below.
Strategically, God has given LifePlan an opportunity to expand our reach over the last few years. In 1985, LifePlan in Niles, Michigan was opened. In 2019 we opened our Benton Harbor campus. By the end of 2023, we plan on opening our South Bend location! For over 2 years now, we have been waiting on God by praying and planning for a South Bend location. We have found a great property at 2206 Miami Street in South Bend. We are now under contract with that property and hope to open for service in November. We are grateful that this door has been opened for us to shine Christ’s love in another part of Michiana!

REDEEM
Over the last year we have struggled with our Benton Harbor location due to our growing ministry needs and inability to expand in the current location. We have been looking for a new building. Through God’s providential working, someone showed us a building that is 1.4 times bigger than our present building with just a slight increase in our rent. It is also one of the highest trafficked areas in Benton Harbor. And the most amazing thing about the property is that it is the old Planned Parenthood building! A building that was once known for death will now be used for proclaiming hope and life through Jesus Christ. We plan to do minor renovations, move and reopen in this new location by the end of October!
